If I could bring any gift to Jesus in the manager, it would have to be a crocheted baby blanket because this is a skill He has given to me and I love to give away my handmade items to others.

  • Being a practical mom & grandmother, I would leave him a bag of a “modern brand” of diapers.

Usually when I give a gift for a baby it is a knit blanket I make holding 2 strands of yarn so it is extra warm, and a stuffed teddy bear.

I would give Jesus me. I would bring a beautiful afghan, wrap Him up and hold Him while singing songs to Him for as long as I would be allowed.

    Smiles & Blessings,
    Cindy W.

I would give myself. What better gift to give our Lord than to be His hands and feet and do His bidding.

Being an artist, I would bring Jesus a portrait of his earthly parents,Mary and Joseph, cradling the Son of God in their arms, with the animals in the background.

  • Leaving the glory of heaven was hard enough for our God. I would have hoped to give Him a gift that made humanity a little more pleasant, so I would bring him a dog. How often did Jesus feel utterly alone in human flesh? Somehow, dogs seem to minister with their quiet presence in a way that even human friends or family members can’t. Granted, Jesus always had the Father’s presence–as do we–but there’s something about the unconditional love and acceptance shining up from a dog’s eyes that makes this harsh world more bearable. And I would want Him to name it…as He allowed Adam to name all the animals. ;)

since I would be giving him a gift from now-a-days, I’d like to give him some wooden cars and trucks so he could play with them and introduce them to everybody else. Then when he started woodworking he could make them too. But seriously, I’d give him my heart. ♥

  • I’d give him a very high powered telescope with a built in compass and plans on how to build a hot air balloon. That way he could give his sermons from above the crowd and see any Romans in the area for miles around and if he had to flee, he would well know his compass headings. The technology would also make his family rich. And it would all be doable with the tools then available.

I would give Baby Jesus a crib to sleep in with a nice blanket. Also, would invite Mary & Joseph to sleep in my guest room! Cute video!

  • Bread & a jar of water. To me He is my life and my source for life that flows through me everyday. So the gifts would show others, because Jesus would already know, what He is and what He means to me.

If I could bring the “newborn” babe a physical gift I would bring the following ; (1) yellow roses (2) air freshener (3)
    music and (4) a smile.
    (1) yellow roses to bring beauty..to make up a disfigured world.
    (2) air freshener to mask the stench of the stable.
    (3) music to sooth him and give him peace before his trials.
    (4) a smile to let him know his love, his being, his teachings and most of all HIS willingness to give himself as ransom for US ALL. I wish I could have been there to say Thank You.

I would put together a basket of lotion, shampoo, powder, grooming kit, Desitin, and some clothes for baby Jesus. I would also put together a basket of nourishing food for Mary and Joseph. I love to cook….I would also bake Jesus’ first birthday cake.

A song and a tiny rattle. I would kneel at his bed and rock it as I sing a soft lullaby.

Like Glenda, my gift would have to be a selection of handcrafted blankets and clothes, although I am a knitter, and I love knitting for all the new babies at my church, as well as my grandchildren

I would bring my family, along with food, and clothing. I must admit bringing my family is not only a gift for Christ, but perhaps a bigger gift for myself. I desire above all that my family come to know Jesus Christ, yet also my family is my most treasured gifts. In my current stage of life, I am learning to let go of my children and their families and allow God to work in their lives without my interference. I want for my family the love, guidance and protection of Christ all thru their lives. Food and clothing is the “Martha Spirit” I have.

I would love to bring him something beautiful and everlasting – such as a seashell. Something that signifies the beauty that God, His Father, created and lasts forever. Of course, if I were there, he’d have my heart and love as well.

  • Even though it would be completely unnecessary because Jesus knows everything, I would bring a book because I love sharing them with others because of how important they are in my life.

Aside from myself and my commitment to Him. I can only give Him what He had given to me. So I would bring him A handwritten copy of His Word.
