You are so lucky to get to visit such great places, very blessed, to be able to visit all the places you write about. No wonder your books are so great. Just to be able to be where Jesus once was and taught us to love one another. I think a book about someone who actually heard him and had their life changed because of it would be great. Oh and you have a very handsome husband! do you have kids and do they get to go traveling with you?? what an education that would be for them
Thanks, Sharon! My kids haven’t traveled yet with me yet, except for taking my daughter to Italy a few years ago to research Pompeii. Hopefully soon!
I just finished your book and was excited to read that you have pictures posted of your visit to Ephesus, on your webpage. The pictures brought the story full circle for me. They are fantastic! i especially like the terraced home photos, street shots and of course the humongous theater. Just wonderful that you could have photos to correspond w/your historical story. It was a beautiful story, I loved how you were able to bring Paul and others from the Bible into the story.
God Bless and happy writing,
Thanks so much, Beth. I’m really glad you enjoyed the book and the pictures!
Just finished reading your book. I was blessed to have traveled to Ephesus last Nov. so it was fun revisiting the city again in the book. You helped me identify some of my pictures. Thank you. Your pictures are amazing! I hope to go back some time. Loved all the cats!
Overwhelmed! Thank you for your writing, inspiration and sharing the Word with it. So Shines the Night is my intro to your writing and website, YAY and God’s Blessings
My husband and I have been so blessed to have traveled to most of the places you have been and written about. Your pictures bring back so many good memories of those places. We traveled with a Berea College Alumni group on so many wonderful trips.
Just finished the book and loved it! You brought Ephesus to life in the story but even more so as I looked at the pictures …fabulous! I love reading novels so filled with history and you certainly did a wonderful job! I will be reading more of your books for sure! Thank you!
Every weekend i used to go to see this website, as i want enjoyment,
for the reason that this this web site conations truly
nice funny stuff too.
I read So shines the night. Through Daria and Lucas I really visualized my dearest apostle Paul and his companions life in Ephesus. I bought your book for my son to cultivate christian reading rather than secular and other destructive fictional books. But I enjoyed it from perspective of Acts 18 and 19. It gave me another dimension of early christians life and ministry of Paul. I saw all of them Aquilla, Priscilla, Gaius, Aristorhacus and my dearest Timothy (I named my son Timothy) moving around me. Thanks Tracy. I pray in these last days let people prepare for Jesus coming by reading these kind of books.
Amazing photos! How wonderful it must be to walk those streets and touch those stones. I need to reread all your books while looking at the photos for additional enjoyment. Thanks for sharing them with us.
I am reading So Shines The Night and thought I’d take a little break to get some more accurate pictures in my head. I love the way you arrange your website so that we can easily find your travel research for a particular book. I love the way you explain certain photos and how they tie into the book. You are awesome. God bless you.
Just finished So Shines the Night and loved it! I appreciated your suggestion at the end to visit this site. My husband and I were privileged to visit Ephesus in 2012 and visited the same archaeological sites. Enjoyed revisiting them through your pictures and imagining more clearly Paul, Timothy and the other saints walking those streets. Thank you!
I just finished So Shines the Night. The first thing I did was to reread Acts 18 & 19! Then I came to your website and looked at your pictures from Ephesus. Thank you for a wonderful story! I adore historical fiction and when it is a Christian novel involving characters and circumstances from the Bible, it is like eating two of my favorite desserts at the same time! I can’t wait to read another of your books! Thanks for bringing parts of the church’s early years to life!
Thanks, Marcy. So glad you enjoyed the book, and that it took you straight to your Bible!
