3 places I would like to see are: Bermuda,Sanibel Island, and Alaska. Bermuda is an island, which I love, and it just looks like an interesting place to visit. Sanibel Island-another island-is supposed to be a place where one can have a quiet vacation and gather sea shells and take walks on the beach. All the pictures I have seen of Alaska show it as such a beautiful and rugged place where I would love to go

My three places would be: 1) Isle and Butt of Lewis in the North of Scotland, which just happen to be the ancient home of the Clan Morrison; 2) Antarctica as I believe the land mass under the ice will reveal wonders if we could ever investigate; 3) Israel (all) especially Tel Aviv and the Baha’i International House of Justice and the dead Sea and maybe explore some caves. I will not get to these places as I have MS and am in a wheelchair, so reading helps me to go to places ancient and new even if just in my imagination!

I can no sooner choose a favorite city to visit as I could my favorite book (there is always another precious experience to be found). So I will limit myself to countries. ;) Italy: my family is Italian, I love Roman history, and the art world of Florence. Greece: fir the beautiful seas and my weakness for ancient history. Also I would love to see Egypt, with its mysterious deserts, it’s past that has been and is continually being unearthed, and it’s beautiful monuments. If I could add one more it would be Israel: a dream that is soon to come true by studying abroad. :)

What a great video! How awesome to hear about your travels! And your latest book is being released on my birthday so I am doubly excited. I have been fortunate enough to have already visited quite a few different countries. But on my lists still are Sweden because that is where my ancestors came from, Australia since it just sounds like a really fun country to visit, and the Czech Republic because of the wealth of history there.

I am not open to international travel because of all the turmoil and uncertainty in the world today. I’ve always wanted to take a second honeymoon to Niagra Falls, maybe someday I will. I’ve also wanted to visit Alaska to see the Northern Lights. Maybe an Alaskan cruise? And being in love with the beach, I’d love to go to Hawaii someday.

I’m so happy you’ve written what you’ve always wanted to read. I’m sure we’ll enjoy it as much as we have all your other books.
Worldwide travel is so enlightening. We’ve been invited to a wedding in Singapore next year; looking forward to that. I’ve had many invitations to China; maybe we can get them both in the same trip. A repeat visit to Israel would be wonderful, as there’s too much to see in just 10 days. But to tell the truth, there’s no place like our little home in the country!

Hi Tracey, thank you for your book presentation.

Italy… because of the countryside, and the Mediterranean, and the architecture.

New Zealand…. because I really want to go to Middle Earth. :)

The British Isles… I’ve been once, but it was such a short amount of time. I’m dying to go back and see more because I absolutely loved it there!

I would love to visit England because most of my ancestors are from there. The second place would be Hawaii just because it looks beautiful. The third place would be Alaska. Again, it looks beautiful. Someone mentioned visiting the Redwoods. I lived in Redwood country for two and a half years. They are beautiful and query seeing. The Avenue of the Guants us worth the drive!

  • I would love to visit Africa, Japan(Tokyo), and Ireland. My three top places.

Africa because my roots lie there. Japan because of their unique culture-and my love for their literature, and then Ireland because after seeing so many pics from there I just think it is a gorgeous place to visit.

I can’t wait to read Awakening!

    July 19, 2014
  • Very cool video clip! Glad you were able to make it to the top! I have some of that angst, too. So I can truly relate. I have always wanted to go to Japan, more so now that in doing my husband’s genealogy, I find he is a descendant of a very, very famous Samurai. We had no idea! The other places Greece because of it’s history and ancient culture and I would like to go to Israel because of it’s Biblical history.

I honestly have no desire to go anywhere in the world. I have traveled to a few places but I love being home with my family most of all. If I did take a day trip…I’d visit an under ground cavern. I have seen pictures and it is amazing.

All of these places mean something special to me.

The three places I would love to visit would be Italy, Ireland, and Alaska. I’m not a big fan of heat so I wouldn’t like visiting places where the temperature is 100+.
I would love to see Alaska to see the orcas and watch the dog sledding competitions. All the pictures I’ve seen, it looks absolutely beautiful up there.
I would love to go to Ireland. Apparently I have some family history that starts in Ireland and Scotland and first city ever built in America. The castles would be amazing to explore and maybe I can find some knew timbits about my family.
Italy would be amazing. It looks so beautiful. And I love the food which would be a bonus. Seeing homes that have stood for such a long time would be amazing to see. :) I’m also curious about carnival and would love to see if the natives still celebrate it and how they celebrate.

Just 3 places is hard….but we’ve been blessed to have traveled to many places, most recently Ireland and Iceland, and have been to several European countries and Morocco. So I guess my top 3 would be
    1. Israel
    2. South Africa
    3. Thailand
Thank you so much for your inspiring books, Tracy!

My dream countries would be Ireland to visit where my ancestors came from, Israel to visit the Holy Land where my Savior was from, and France just because I love the food, the fashion, the language, and the music. However, I would be happy visiting anywhere!!!

Alaska, re-visit Hawaii, and Tuscany. Because if I go to Africa I will want to bring all the orphans home :)

    July 20, 2014
  • It’s so hard to limit it to just three. As I read over the list of places others want to travel I think, “Oh, yes, there too.” I’ve been to Belgium and loved it so much I’d love to go back. Greece would be fascinating as would Ireland. But the list could go on.
Look forward to reading your new book.

    July 20, 2014
  • Angela Riley

In Italy I dream of going to Venice and Florence, with stops in between to explore villages where we can experience the local culture and meet the people.

I also dream of a joint trip to Ireland and Scotland, also with enough time to spend in some smaller villages with the locals and experience their culture while making new friends. Big cities are great and all, but we must leave time for exploring off the main roads as well and savoring time with locals. :-)

    July 20, 2014
  • To get to my 3 top destinations, I would have to conquer my fear of flying, but since we are just “dreaming” now, my 3 top destinations would be: Ireland, England, and Italy. I’ve know people who have gone there and seen picture and seen them in shows (Downton Abbey!) and they are beautiful and so full of history.
But if I’m not going to conquer my fear, then my 3 top destinations would be: the Grand Canyon (I do have a fear of heights (so I would have to stand back…and NO SKYWALK for me!); Yellowstone National Park; and the Redwood forest.
    Debbie

There are many places I would love to visit and picking three is a challenge, but I’m going to go with Egypt, Switzerland and Ireland.

    July 21, 2014
  • Cyndi Wilson

I agree with many others… choosing just 3 is extremely difficult! :-) I guess I’d have to say, 1) Alaska because my parents were missionaries there when I was a toddler and I don’t remember any of it, so I’d like to go to the little town of Aniak, take a cruise through the Passage and go to Denali… 2) Israel for the obvious reasons… and 3) toss-up between Ireland and Italy.
Ditto on the kudos for conquering your fears! Loved the video! Looking forward to the book!!!

I love Alaska, but the one time I on my way to Denali, it was pouring rain, so we turned back. I had a pen pal in Australia, when I was young and have always have wanted to visit there. Maine is one of the few states I haven’t visited.

I would like to travel to so many places, but here are a three that stand out for me: Greece, Italy, and Alaska. An odd group, huh? But so many beautiful locations in God’s great world make it a really tough decision! :) Thanks for your beautiful stories that help me “travel” in my imagination.

  • Sounds like that English man was our Lord ~ Jesus….
That sounds just like something he would do!
    He loves you that much!

The 3 places I would love to see are:
    1. Israel: We went there in 04 but my husband and I both got pneumonia on the second day… Very bad experience. We wan to go back.
    2. Ireland; because I am Irish.
    3. Scotland; because I love a good single malt. :)
Thank you so much for sharing you talent of writing with me.
